Religious Education

The parish is the center of faith formation for Catholics. Every person in your pews, every Catholic in your parish community…child or adult…is on their own journey toward Christ and a life of discipleship.

Welcome to the Beverly Catholic Collaborative's Religious Education. The most current information regarding Religious Education can be found on the website. It is our privilege to be a partner with parents as they share our faith with their children.

Please consider joining our dedicated volunteer catechists and hall monitors by sharing your time and your faith with the children and youth of our parish.

Sacrament Preparation for Confirmation

2024-2025 Letter to Parents Confirmation Registration Form 2024-2025
The Confirmation preparation process guides the candidate into the experience of the fullness of the Holy Spirit through the completion of the Sacraments of Initiation. Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism by the outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which seals one’s baptism and unites the believer intimately to Christ and equips one to live as a disciple.

The process is a two-year period of formation. The earliest a candidate can prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation is in grade 9 with the celebration of the sacrament at the end of grade 10. It consists of class sessions (approximately 6/year), 24 hours of service in total for two years and a retreat just prior to the celebration of the sacrament.

Confirmation for adults is available for those 18 and older who have received the Sacrament of the Eucharist and catechesis in the Catholic faith through eighth grade.

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) adapted for Children

RCIA what is it? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a sacramental process of how people become part of the Catholic faith. Through Bible storytelling and sharing the good news of our faith with people, we help them to discover who Jesus is and the Church so that they can find a family of faith.

It is for those age 8 through adulthood who have not been baptized. It is also available to people who were formed in the Protestant faith but now wish to become Catholic.

More information on the 2023-2024 schedule will be coming soon.

Adult confirmation

We will be offering adult confirmation classes for any Catholics who missed it as a young person. We will be meeting via Zoom at a day and time of your convenience.

We are also looking for parishioners who would like to be a part of the RCIA or confirmation team for adults.
